Week 4, Day 1

Almost a month complete and I think all of us can agree that we look and feel better. I can't wait to see 3 months from now and all the progress we will make.

Today was an elliptical day. John and I both did 30 minutes of the random selection. This day was nothing like last Thursday, but still a good workout. I will see if Barnes wants to do it again on Tuesday, but I really like the elliptical.

9. Lack of sleep may increase risk of death- British researchers found in a study of over 10,000 civil servants who cut their sleep to fewer than 7 hours of sleep nearly doubled their risk of death from all causes.

10. Sleep loss impairs judgment, especially about sleep-Lack of sleep can affect your ability to make sound judgements. In critical situations or quick thinking opportunities, a person who gets 6 or less hours of sleep a night loose their ability to make good judgement calls. In fact most believe they have "gotten used to sleep deprivation" however their abilty for accessing situations, problem solving, organizing tasks quickly and thinking outside the box are greatly impacted in a negative way.
